Is it wrong to Cohabit?

Who says what’s good and what’s not? WE. Only people justifies everything that's going on in this world. Only people implement rules to make things justifiable. For it’s actually us alone that defines what’s is supposed to be done.

Looking back to the History of mankind when man was still simple and do not possess that complicity of the mind, man was happy and contented. And during this time legal partnership still didn't exist. Couples were united not just because of a certain ceremony but because they have to follow a particular tradition.

Most ancient societies needed a secure environment for the perpetuation of the species, a system of rules to handle the granting of property rights, and the protection of bloodlines. The institution of marriage handled these needs.

But things change as time pass by. The simplicity of life has transformed into a much complex world. And so man build rules to mandate everyone and to stick to it in order to maintain peace.

But when did man define marriage? When did man started to think that partnership should only be between two people? And so marriage was born. At first was it really for morality? No. Never. That was never the purpose of it. And here is another thing, most couples in the past didn’t marry because they were in love but for economic liaisons and to follow the decisions from parents.

So why do we condemn and criticize those people who stay together and love. They may not be legally bound with each other but they fall in love. I think that's the most important thing about it.

Cohabit. Moral or immoral? I don't think so. It's not that it's a trend but it's like going back to our past. So, I never believe that it’s all wrong to cohabit, fall in love forever, respect each other and live life as a couple without the legality of marriage.

What is wrong is when you belittle a persons status. For what? For you to be lifted up?
